Brooks was fortunate enough to make the 5 year old allstar team. We just finished our first tournament today in Lonoke. We went 1-1-1, which we are proud of since we played mostly 6 year olds. This team only practiced one time before playing in the tourney, so over the next few weeks we will live and breathe baseball practicing nightly during the week and playing tournaments on the weekends. It should be fun!

The Lane/Moudy Crew had a great Easter! We started off the day at Fellowship Bible in Cabot (my brother's church). He sang in a small group and it was really good! I miss hearing him sing at church. It was a very moving service! We spent the afternoon hanging out at Matt and Jen's house. We ate lunch and played outside all afternoon.

This past week, Josh and I took Brooks snow skiing for the first time to Steamboat Springs, CO. I can promise you it won't be the last if Brooks has anything to do with it. We thought Pax was a little young, so he stayed at home with the grandparents (thank you!!!) His time will come soon enough. Lindsay, Robert, Christy and a couple of their friends were also in Steamboat at the time. We enjoyed hanging out with them. Brooks LOVES you guys!

To say Brooks loves snow skiing is a huge understatement! He wore us totally out each day. Typically, Josh and I are back to the condo by 3:30. With Brooks, we strolled in between 4:30 and 5:00. He caught onto it in no time and wanted to be the last one on the slopes! We were so proud of him! He had a great attitude all week long! Thank you Brooks for being such a sweet, big boy! Dad and I cherished this time with you!

Brooks' Big Week

Believe it or not, we signed Brooks up for Kindergarten this week! After much prayer, we have decided to send him to Avilla Christian Academy. It is a small, private school about 10 minutes from our home. This was a big decision for us because we have such confidence in the Benton/Bryant school systems. It is just one of those things that we feel like the Lord has placed on our hearts and that we have a peace about, therefore we are excited for Brooks! It may be for a year or for more, only God knows. Brooks is pumped! After visiting Avilla for the first time, he said, "Mom, this is cool, do I start tomorrow?" I am certainly not ready for that, and probably won't really be ready in August.

We also signed him up for baseball this week. He will move up to the Pitching Machine league. He is super excited about that and never liked hitting off of the tee anyway. It should be fun to watch!

Since Daddy came home early from work yesterday, we have lived outside on the Polaris or on a sled. The boys have had a blast. I can't imagine how much fun they could have with a signifcant amount of snow :)They have been sledding down the fairway/hill of hole #13 and played with a ton of neighborhood kids. When they let us come in for brief periods of time, we have filled up on soup, chili, cider and dessert! This has been a great weekend! Here are a few pics. My camera wasn't cooperating earlier today, but here are a few from yesterday. As you can see, Brooks wouldn't stay still long enough for a good picture.

As a part of the Women's Volunteer Board of ABCHomes I get the opportunity to take the boys to Monticello and play with the ABCHomes kiddos on MLK day because they are out of school. It is a special time for each of us. We get to visit with the children in their cottages, have a pizza party, celebrate January birthdays and play! Brooks was the leader in preschool on Wednesday, which also means we are in charge of the snacks on that day. Brooks gets pretty creative and because it was SUPPOSED to snow last night he thought we needed to make a "snowman" cake. We think it turned out pretty cute, unfortunately he woke up not feeling well so we had to drop it off for his class mid-morning. To top it off, the snow didn't make it here! Oh well, a fun afternoon in the kitchen with mom!

This Christmas was so much fun! We had quality time with all of our family and even a little with our friends. Although it is a hectic time of year, it is also the time of year when I can't help but be extra thankful for the really important things in life. We serve a God that gave His only son to die for our sins and saved the world, yet walks with us daily and cares about every detail in our life. We have two healthy, energetic boys that keep us on our toes. Josh and I are more in love than ever. Josh loves his job and works with many other believers. We have a ton of family and friends that would do anything for us and us for them. We lost a grandpa a couple of months ago, but somehow became even closer to our whole family through it. Looking back over the holidays, Josh and I did our best to help our boys understand what Christmas really is about... but when is enough really enough? I think the answer to that is never. I hope that your Christmas was also filled with a lot of love and laughter and that you felt Jesus's love for you!

Here is a little pic into our lives over the past week or so.I have been meaning to post some pics of my tree. Here it is. I have enjoyed seeing a lot of your decorations so thought I would share a little of mine. The past two weeks have been jam packed full of shopping, wrapping, office parties, school parties, choir concerts, sunday school parties and cooking and preparing treats for almost all of those! I love this time of year and wouldn't trade it for anything. This is when I am extra thankful to be a "stay at home" mom and can't imagine fitting it all in with a "real job"! A Big Night

I just laid Paxton down in a big boy bed with Brooks for the first time. We have decided to take him out of his crib a little sooner than we thought and let the boys share a room. Long story short we had major water damage in Pax' bedroom recently, which has caused him to have to sleep in a "pack-n-play" in our bedroom for the past three weeks. He is now climbing out of it constantly and seems to be sleeping better in our bed with a little more wiggle room. We are going to make his bedroom into a guest bedroom for now. Here are a couple of pictures from this momentous occasion!!! We will see how it goes!

Josh celebrated his 34th Birthday yesterday! Let me re-phrase that, Josh has celebrated his birthday since Sunday and it will continue through Thursday. We like to have week-long birthdays around here. Here are a couple pictures. The first picture was taken about 7:00 am. We like to open our gifts early at the Lane house! He got several things from me, but the most thoughtful present came from Brooks (and Pax). I let him pick out what he wanted to get his Daddy, so we came home with a Hot Wheels t-shirt and boxers with golf carts on them. He was so proud and Josh loved them! One of the gifts my parents got Josh was a new suitcase, as you can see the boys enjoyed it! The last picture was taken at Josh's parents house on our way back home from the Razorback game on Sunday. We stopped by for his first Birthday dinner and cake!

Our friends, Mary Alice and Eric took us to Eric's family farm for a day last week. The boys had a blast! We rode a Polaris through the creek, between the cows and all around. This is my last Halloween post. I have never been a real fan of Halloween in the first place, so I am not sure why I can't seem to stop posting! Yes...we all dressed up! Josh and I were a Referee and Basketball player. We went partially with the "Will Ferrell" theme this year. Pax was Ricky Bobby from Talledega Nights and Josh was from another movie Semi-Pro. We had a great time at our Family Sunday School Costume Party. Josh won the "funniest" award!

I took this picture of the boys right after the Hogs defeated the Tigers yesterday!!! Doesn't Pax look like he feels well? We thought so too! Unfortunately, after we got home from Fayetteville last night, we had an eventful night at our house. Long story short, Pax had a severe asthma attack around 4 am. Yes, Paxton... the one w/o the asthma we thought! When he was 3 mos old he had one incident with asthma, but that was when he had Pnemonia so we just chalked it up to that. Anyway...we ended up having to call 911 (under strict nurse orders after she heard him wheezing so badly over the phone). After two updrafts w/the machine (luckily we are prepared b/c Brooks has asthma) and by the time the paramedics arrived we were able to get him pretty well under control. We went on to the the ER in our car and only had to stay a few minutes. They believe he has the Croup, which in kids with asthma or prone to have asthma can induce a really bad asthma attack, which is what they believe happened with him. We thank God he protected one of our baby boys once again! It was very nerve-racking and caught us totally off guard. He had a cough before he went to bed and I just felt the need for him to sleep in our bed (which is unusual). I know the Lord put that on my heart, b/c we wouldn't have heard him struggling to breathe across the house. Please say a prayer for him that this was a one time incident!

The last two years my mom has painted pumpkins with the boys. I know you are all shocked the Lane boys picked a "Sports" theme. Brooks wanted to leave the adorable Razorback canvas on the front door that Lindsey painted us, so I have combined Halloween and the Razorbacks this year. Sadly, our pumpkins are already starting to rot, but these are from a couple of days ago.

Brooks' preschool class had a "Fire Safety" emphasis last week. Here are a couple of pics from the morning. I caught the tell end of their time with the firemen. Brooks loved it. He had to wear his rain boots b/c he said that is the closest thing he has to fireman boots!

This past Saturday afternoon we had a "Crossover" Sunday School fellowship. It was a lot of fun hanging out with old and new friends! One of the teachers in our department has a farm. She invited us to come out to ride horses, fish and eat a little bbq! Anyone who knows Brooks well knows he likes to dress the part! The boys had a blast catching fish. The first three times Brooks cast his pole he caught a fish each time That is our kind of fishing! Thank you Mr. James and Mrs. Margaret!

This past Saturday was another big day at the Lane house! Brooks played his first soccer game ever. Josh is coaching, along with Jaime Matyja. Josh sponsored the team, therefore Brooks got to name it. They are the A.C.D.I Fireballs! Brooks did really well. He wasn't timid at all and just dribbled right through those big boys. He and one other kiddo scored all the goals! Unlike a lot of leagues, they play with a goalie, so scoring is a little more difficult. I had a lot of fun watching him. I am having to learn soccer. Josh played growing up, but I haven't watched a game except for my niece and nephews! The only problem is that Pax wants to be in the center of it all! The game had to be stopped a couple of times b/c he was on the field. Oops! Josh just kept looking at me like "get control!" I couldn't help it, I was caught up in the big game! Does anyone want to babysit a crazy 2 year old every Saturday morning at 8:30 for the next 8 weeks??? Ha! Enjoy the pics~

DLM Golf Tournament

Josh's dad passed away 4 years ago this next month. Each year after, Josh and the other guys in the family have hosted a Doug Lane Memorial Golf Tourney in his honor. It is normally family and a few close friends. This year it was a little more low key because of the rain last weekend, but it was a lot of fun! On Saturday morning the guys beat the rain and played 18 at Shadow Valley in Rogers. Josh's uncle Cameron lives on the course. That night the whole family (kids and wives too) got together, ate barbeque and played cards! Here are just a few pictures from the golf game.

Time really does fly by... so much so I am afraid I don't cherish all of this quality time with my boys! Happy Birthday Pax! I can't believe you already two years old! You are one of the funniest little boys ever!!! You keep me on my toes (and on my knees lately praying for patience:) You are such a bundle of energy that makes me smile 99% of the time! I thank God for you everyday!

This morning Daddy stayed home a little later so Pax could open his birthday presents from us. He got a real set of toddler golf clubs, some clothes and a book. He LOVES the golf clubs! Then we headed to my guys favorite donut shop to enjoy a healthy breakfast :) We all then took Brooks to preschool! It was a fun morning!

We were supposed to have a "Barney Birthday Bash in the Backyard" for Paxton's 2nd Birthday, but the rain kept us in. That didn't dampen our spirits! We just spent a lot of time in the garage! Josh was such a trooper! He was Barney! It was hilarious! Pax was a little apprehensive, but the other kiddos loved him. In case you don't know, Pax is totally obsessed with Barney. This weekend has been full of football and fun! Friday night we went to the Benton-Bryant game. We had fun with friends, despite the Panther's loss to the Hornets. Saturday was crazy, we ended up tailgating before the Razorback game after much debate over the weather. My sweet mother planned it to be a little birthday party for me also. Unfortunately, she has been sick for several days and couldn't even come. She and Brooks had this hilarious cake made for me. It has a picture of me in 6th grade in my softball uniform! She says that Brooks picked it out! Thanks to those of you who stopped by to wish me well! I am very blessed with all of my friends and family! Being 30 feels great so far! D.C Fun

I went with Josh to Washington D.C. earlier this week for a few days. He and Matt Bennett were there for a convention with work, so Tara and I went along for fun. Thanks so much to our parent's for taking care of the kiddos for us so I could go! We stayed at the Gaylord Hotel on the Potomac River... Gorgeous! We had a great time! We looked at monuments, shopped in Georgetown and went to a couple of "dinner events" with our guys. All in all, a great time with a long time friend and quality time with my man! My camera battery was dead the day we went to the monuments, but here are a few other pics from the week!

Over the past few days we have spent quality time with family! One of the best parts of the week has been to watch Brooks and Pax play with their 2nd cousins, Jackson, C.J., and twins Brennan and Blake that are the same age as Brooks. I am afraid they are going to have withdrawls tomorrow not getting to hang out with one another. All that to say, the twins have recently learned how to ride their bike without training wheels, so of course Brooks wanted to try. The difference is Brooks seldomly rides a bike at all, so when Uncle Rob said he was going to let Brooks try I doubted it would go real well. Brooks proved me wrong in about two seconds! He took off like it was nothing! We have to work on getting going, but he has the rest down. Way to go Brooks! Thanks Uncle Rob!

Today I am feeled with different emotions. My papaw went to be with the Lord this morning at 6:30 am. Selfishly, I am sad because I won't be able to stop by his house with a milkshake, slushy or whatever from Sonic in hand and hear funny stories about my mom and her siblings. Brooks is sad because he won't be able to play Wii bowling with him anymore. However, we have such hope and a peace in our hearts because he is in Heaven with no more pain as scripture tells us! We will see each other again!

It rained almost daily last week, so the boys played dress up a lot (in manly things of course!) This particuliar afternoon was all about football! Our precious neighbor Bethany made the boys a "run-through" so when the rained stop they hit the ground running! I had a cute video of them actually running through it, but as usual I can't get my video to download. Just try to imagine tiny Pax trying to run through the paper, but just bouncing back b/c he is so scronny!

I am so behind on posts, but first I have to share some of the things Pax has been saying and doing over the past month or so since I no longer write in a baby book! He is constantly cracking us up! This is going to be random!

At 22 months old, one of his favorite things to do is to stand in front of the computer with a microphone in hand and watch and sing along to "You Tube" music videos. (at least 5 times a day) He loves "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky and "I will rise" by Chris Tomlin. Gotta love the variety!

He loves ANY KIND OF BALL! He is constantly playing baseball, golf, basketball, football or whatever Brooks wants him to play. If Brooks tries to take a break, Pax says "Come on, Brooksy"

His vocabulary is in overdrive! He repeats everything!!! He has started putting 3-4 words together. When I call his name now most of the time he responds, "yeah, babe".

He is very adventuresome in comparison with Brooks. He is already riding the tube at the lake (pics to come soon!)

He loves his brother more than anything! He wakes up before Brooks, but when he hears Brooks waking up, he runs in there to give him a big hug every morning! It is precious!

Just like Brooks, the only character he really likes is Barney. Lucky me!

He LOVES shoes and normally changes shoes at least 4 or 5 times a day!

He lives off of Cheetos, Pop-tarts, Popsicles, Turkey, Chicken Nuggets, Strawberries and any kind of cake! I attempt veggies, but it isn't going to well right now!

We have to visit this one for old time's sake. Destin is the first Krispy Kreme we had been to. The first year we discovered it I think we went every night! Last night Brooks played a great game! He only has a couple of games left, so a lot of friends and family came out to support him and he made us all proud! He hit one almost all the way to the fence and he caught two really hard ground balls. Luckily, Mare-Mare came to the game to capture some great photos! Ok, since this going to be the closest thing to a scrapbook my kids will most likely ever have then I have to share a story about Brooks. I admit it, I am hooked on American Idol and have been a Kris Allen and Danny Gokey fan from the beginning. I will also admit to you that I voted for almost an hour straight last night for Kris. I say all of that to tell you that I accept responsibility for Brooks' behaviour. We came in from church to watch the highly anticipated episode of American Idol. Brooks asked to stay up and watch and I said ok. Well, it came elimination time and they announced Kris was safe, I proceded to stand up and cheer when all of the sudden Brooks breaks into HYSTERIA! I thought Pax had hit him with a bat again, oh know he was crying because Danny Gokey "didn't win". Keep in mind Danny had not been eliminated yet, so I am like what??? Anyway... Josh is convinced that in his words "he acted like that because you scared him half to death when you stood up and screamed to the top of your lungs like a little school girl" Whatever the reason... how sensitive of him and a little embarrasing too. When he finally was eliminated he cried again until I showed him that even Danny wasn't crying and he was ok. Craziness! I don't know what got into him, but I do know that I will be more careful about showing my emotions over a silly tv show. Needless to say, I will put him to bed tomorrow night before the season finale of Grey's!

Well, I feel really bad because I tend to post more pictures of Brooks than Pax. I promise I have been capturing life moments, but they have been more through video and I can't get any of my videos to download for some reason. For instance, he has learned from Brooks how to hit off the tee and he is good! I have videoed that several times, but can't seem to post it :( Anyway... we took my mom to Shogun last night for Mother's Day and I got a few cute pics of Paxton playing in the puddles of the parking lot. Who knew that would be a good place for a photo shoot? I thought these were pretty cute! Most of you know that Pax lives in these rain boots and the past couple of weeks it has been very appropriate!

Brooks and I traveled to Memphis this past weekend with Nannie and Pops to watch Cousin Jake play in a baseball tournament. Well, to no one's surprise the tournament was rained out. However, we did get to go to a Redbirds game on Friday night before the floods came. This picture is from the game. The picture of Jake and Brooks is from Wolfchase Mall on Saturday. We made a quick stop by the mall before heading back to Benton. It isn't a great pic, but Jake is so busy with school and ball lately that we don't have many pictures of him, so I had to post this one on the blog. They are riding in a toy helicopter in the middle of the mall.

Mission Friends

Each Wednesday night at church Brooks goes to a class called "Mission Friends". For one hour they learn about missionaries in the United States and all around the world. He learns about the importance of missionaries and how to pray for them. A couple of weeks ago our Sunday night service was devoted to Missions. Brooks' class sang "He's got the Whole World in His Hands". It was precious!

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of t-ball games. Brooks is so proud to have a fan club! Brooks is doing really well. He loves every minute of it from warming up before the game to getting team cokes at the end of the game and every little thing in between! He has played several games and improves each one. For instance, he has gotten much faster running the bases. The first couple of games I could have gone to the concession stand and back before he got to first base! I love to watch him on base. He is so serious. He gets in the "I am ready to run" stance and claps his hands and when that ball is hit, he is off with the biggest smile you have ever seen! I will try to get a picture next game of it.

This past weekend, Josh's stepmom (Debbie/Mimi)got remarried to a really nice guy named Ed. We headed to Fayetteville after Brooks t-ball game on Saturday morning for the ceremony and reception. Pax and I had to step out of the ceremony in about 10 seconds. He proceded to yell "Mimi" as she walked down the aisle and then broke out into his favorite song. It goes "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, and on and on". Here are a few pics from the weekend. The first one is of the happy couple.

It was awesome! Brooks had the time of his life! I was so proud. He got two good hits, got to slide into home plate both times (the only one who insisted on sliding I might add) and caught some grounders on defense. He even tagged a little boy out on second base! He was in heaven. I knew he would love it, but it even surprised me. Everyone kept commenting on how serious he was about the whole thing! Brooks had his own fan club at the game and he was so proud! Here are a few pics. Believe it or not, there were more! I didn't get pics of Nannie and Pops or the Farmers. I will do better next time!

I can't believe I have a 4 year old! Time flies! He had a party at Larry's pizza. He and his buddies had a great time playing games and eating pizza and cake. Brooks newest hobby is playing air hockey. He loves to play at Larry's so Josh and I got him a smaller table for his birthday. As you can see, he had a "sports" themed party. That isn't a surprise to anyone who knows Brooks well. I have a feeling the theme may never change :) A big thank you to all of our friends and family who came to celebrate with Brooks. He loves each of you!

I took these pics right before Josh and Brooks headed off to his first real ball practice ever! I know this sounds ridiculous, but I am teary eyed. He is growing up so fast! As for the practice, I didn't go (which I regret big time by the way)!!! Nothing should have been more important tonight and I went to a meeting. He told me that I was the only mom not there. Seriously, I felt like a knife went through my heart! I am sure that will not be the last time, but trust me hell will have to freeze over for me to miss Paxton's first practice! Brooks had a great time and says that he made a lot of friends. They already nick-named him "J.B" for Joshua Brooks. He thinks that is so cool! There is another Brooks on the team, so evidently that is how they are going to refer to my Brooks. That was Josh's nickname growing up b/c his name is Joshua Bryan. Anyway... Josh said that he hit, threw and caught really well. He held is own out there with the big boys apparently. Not only is Brooks the smallest, but also the youngest on the team. Josh was also really proud of the way he listened and followed directions. Ok, enough bragging, but just can't help it tonight. So proud! We had a lot of family time this Valentine's Day Weekend! Pax has been feeling under the weather, so no date night for Josh and me. That's ok and we all know that is just life with kids! We grilled out friday night, opened Valentine's presents on Saturday morning, went to LR to visit my Papaw in the hospital on Saturday night, picked up McDonalds for Brooks on the way home and Chili's-to-go for us. We are totally hooked on a dessert at Chili's called White Chocolate Molten Cake! I highly recommend it! All in all, quality time with the three most special people in my life, what more could I ask for?

We headed to Fayetteville on Friday to hang out with Josh's fam and watch the Hogs play Auburn. These are the only photos I took this weekend. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera out when Brooks and Josh ran into Darren McFadden at halftime of the game. Brooks gave him a huge smile and a high-five and D-Mc returned the gesture. Cliff and Kristen were so nice to invite one of Cliff's biggest fans over to their house to play. They are leaving for Spring Training in the next couple of weeks, so we had to squeeze it in quickly. Cliff made Brooks' day by playing with him one on one for almost two hours. Ironically I think they played every sport but baseball in that time. Brooks' Church Craziness!

Ok. I am posting a crazy story about Brooks b/c so many people told me I have to write it down for his scrapbook and since this will basically be his scrapbook one day I am telling all of you about it too. This past Sunday morning Josh and I let Brooks come to "big church" with us b/c he had been begging us. Josh told him if he talked too much he would have to go back to his Sunday School class. Long story short they were sitting at the other end of the row from me and I noticed Josh and him were gone so I assumed Josh took him back to his SS class. Well, I was very wrong. He and Josh must have just hung out in the lobby during the sermon. Josh apparently told Brooks that he could go up on stage after church was over and say hi to our minister of music, David and pretend like he was leading music. Brooks has always loved him and vice versa. So our Pastor Rick finishes preaching, we have the invitation, and we are singing the last song before church is over (thank God) and during the middle of the song (a peppy song w/clapping luckily), I look over and Brooks is sprinting down the center aisle, goes up on the platform, gives our music director a high five and David picks Brooks up and holds him through the last song. It almost looked planned, but it wasn't. Brooks smiled and waved at everyone. Needless to say I was in shock considering I thought he was in class. In case some of you don't know, our church isn't tiny. There were probably 1500 people in the service. Anyway... just wanted to share. Josh is still in trouble :) His side of the story is Brooks just misunderstood and got away and he wasn't going to tackle him in the middle of the aisle. Who knows, it is funny now. We have had numerous calls saying how precious it was. One of our staff members said that all week long she has replayed Brooks doing that in her head and the Lord reminded her that we should be running to Him with that innocence and excitement! I can't say the Lord spoke to me through it, but it was pretty sweet!

Wow!!!... It's 2009!

Where does the time go? We have been so blessed over the past few years, but 2008 might have been the most fun year yet! Paxton's personality came to life! Crazy is the first word that comes to mind. A few of his favorite past times are standing on top of the kitchen table, taking off the covers to the light sockets, climbing out of his highchair, hitting Brooks, falling backwards onto the hardwood floor on purpose, opening doors and walking outside into the freezing cold in his pj's, climbing up onto Brooks bed and rolling off, and on and on!!! Despite the daredevil, fearless, adventure-craving little guy that he is, he is also the happiest kid I have ever been around in my life. He smiles almost constantly, is hardly ever cranky, loves to give kisses and thinks his brother is the best thing since sliced bread! That has been the very best part of parenting so far! No one prepared me for the bond I would see develop in no time before my very eyes between my boys. Brooks calls Paxton his best friend and refuses to hit him back even though his dad has given him permission a few times recently :) Brooks never wants to go anywhere without him b/c he is afraid Pax will cry for him when he is gone. Precious! I am in love again! Brooks ceases to amaze us with his love for sports and numbers. Yes, an odd combination but true. He constantly has some type of ball in his hand, but on the other hand has memorized at least 10 phone numbers (area code included) and dials them frequently w/o me knowing:) He can tell you any major sport figures jersey number along with every member of Josh's softball team. We know he gets that from my dad,hopefully it will pay off one day! Brooks starts tee-ball this spring. To say time flies is an understatement! It seems like yesterday we were telling Brooks it would be a long time before he could play on a real team like his cousin Jake and here it is almost time for sign ups! I am so thankful for all three of my boys! God continued to bless our family and extended families with great health in 2008 and we are so thankful and try to never take that for granted. We will press on and continue to pray daily for another amazing year full of love, a ton of laughter and more good health. We most look forward to great memories to be made with family and friends! Forgive me for rambling!

Although he isn't here on earth with us anymore, we certainly don't stop thinking about him, especially on special days like today. Josh's dad would have turned 55 years old today. This is a picture of he and Brooks (Aug 2005). Brooks was 5 months old. I love this picture b/c his dad felt pretty good that day. He got to love on Brooks a lot that afternoon. He lost his battle with cancer less than two months later. We are so thankful that God gave us several of those fun, laughter-filled, memory-making, picture-taking days during that time! God is so good!
